If the unit can be repaired, we tell you what the repair costs and how much life it likely has left, so you can decide between fixing and replacing.

New installs include mounting, wiring, rail assembly, safety sensor alignment, and battery backup.
We set travel and force limits
An opener set wrong will reverse for no reason or press too hard on the floor. We set and test both limits.

Questions we get asked
My door goes down and then comes back up. What is wrong?
Usually the safety sensors. They may be misaligned, dirty, or blocked by something small near the floor. It can also be a close-force limit set too low. Both are common and quick to check.
Is battery backup actually required in California?
Yes, for newly installed residential garage door openers. Every new opener we install includes it.
Can I keep my old opener with a new door?
Often yes, if it is in good condition and rated for the new door's weight. Heavier doors sometimes need more power.
How long does an opener last?
Ten to fifteen years is typical, though it depends heavily on cycles. A door opened eight times a day wears out faster than one opened twice.
Can you make my existing opener work with my phone?
Sometimes. Some older units accept a retrofit smart controller. Whether yours does depends on the model and its safety sensor wiring, which we can check on site.
