What We Install

Doors built for San Diego homes

We install residential and light commercial garage doors across San Diego County. Every install includes measuring the opening, fitting the track, balancing the door, and testing the safety reverse before we leave.

🧱

Steel Sectional Doors

The most common choice in San Diego. Low maintenance, powder-coated finishes, and available insulated or non-insulated.

🌴

Wood & Wood-Composite

Carriage house and flush panel styles. Composite holds up better than solid wood in coastal humidity.

🧭

Full-View Glass & Aluminum

Aluminum frames with tempered, frosted, or tinted glass. Popular for modern builds and garage conversions.

🌪

Insulated Doors

Polyurethane and polystyrene cores for garages used as workshops, gyms, or converted rooms.

🛣

Coastal-Grade Hardware

Galvanized and stainless hardware for homes near the water, where standard hardware corrodes early.

📦

Custom Sizes

Non-standard openings measured and ordered to fit. Lead time depends on the manufacturer.

How It Works

From quote to finished install

1

We measure the opening

We come out, measure the opening, headroom, and side room, and check the existing track and framing. Some openings need modification before a new door fits.

2

You get a written quote

The quote lists the door, hardware, opener work if needed, and haul-away of the old door. No work starts until you approve it.

3

We order the door

In-stock doors are often available the same week. Custom sizes and finishes take longer depending on the manufacturer.

4

We install and balance

We remove the old door, install the new track and door, balance the springs to the door weight, and test the opener and safety reverse.

5

We walk you through it

Before we leave we show you the manual release, the safety sensors, and what the warranty covers.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

How long does a garage door installation take?

Most single or double door installs are done in one day. Openings that need new framing or header work can take longer, and we will tell you that at the quote stage rather than on the day.

Do you haul away the old door?

Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and track is included in the quote unless you tell us you want to keep it.

Should I insulate my garage door?

It depends on how you use the space. If the garage is only for parking and storage, insulation makes little difference in most of San Diego County. If it is a workshop, gym, or converted room, or if it faces afternoon sun, insulation is worth it.

Do I need a new opener with a new door?

Not always. If your opener is in good condition and rated for the weight of the new door, we can reuse it. Heavier doors, such as solid wood or full-view glass, sometimes need a stronger opener.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. CSLB License #1081105. You can verify it at cslb.ca.gov.
