How long does a garage storage install take?
Most cabinet and rack installs are done in a day. Larger projects, or ones combined with a floor coating, take longer, and we will give you the timeline in the quote.
Are overhead racks safe for heavy items?
Yes, when they are installed correctly. We bolt them into the ceiling joists, keep them clear of the garage door and opener, and tell you the weight each rack is rated for.
Should cabinets be wall-hung or sit on the floor?
Wall-hung cabinets keep the floor clear for cleaning and are a good match for coated floors. Floor cabinets carry heavier loads. Many garages use a mix of both.
Can you do the floor and the storage together?
Yes. We coat the floor first, then install the cabinets and racks once it has cured, so everything sits on the finished floor.
